Can Pistella leo hotel

Image
Just back from the Leo, second visit, again no faults, it done what it said on the tin, Ok its cheap, set back 200metres from the sea front, full of holiday guests from various countries, there was around 4-6 couples from England, but that is the appeal of the place, you go with the flow, don’t judge it against other English hotels, if you want Thomson’s, book with them , Right after converting Euros to English cost was £33.00 per night for the room half board, full board was a extra £5, flights were cheap as well so was a perfect finish to the Year, under under£350 for 5 nights, booked with Booking.com and Easy jet and again used the 2 euro transfer bus. Bedrooms plain and simple, cleaned very day, lucky this time with a pool/sea view on the 5th floor, ask for 557 in a great spot, TV 1 English channel but never it, you can hire a fridge for 30 Euros, but here is the rub there is only one plug for the fridge or TV you decide, clean towels every day, hard and grey but done the job,

Royal Kenz Tunisca 2010

Back from the Royal Kenz on the 29th August, after reading the reviews over the last 4 months, not sure if we were in the same hotel. Could not fault the hotel or the experience, as a seasoned reviewer will mention areas separate. We arrived late i.e. 10:30pm and as the coach was full 40 guests plan B went into action, whilst I get the cases, the good wife heads for check in, always first in, and by the time I arrive with cases everything is sorted, Key in hand we head for the room, we were lucky to have asked ahead for the new block, standard rooms but twice the size, yes you are facing the main road, but the peace and quiet, it was great. The room measures a good 17 yards by 5 yards, flat screen TV new air con chilled to 5c each night, consent hot water, extra large bed and a sitting area, all were tiled with a small carpet. We took our own kettle, coffee etc, no need to upgrade to a superior room ask for rooms over 625-631. As we were all inclusive we soon filled the fridge w

ANANIAS Apartments

First of all a big thank you to the following couples who made this a perfect holiday, Terry and Anne John and Phyllis, Sam and Lucy, Sandy, and everyone else we mixed with. On arrival rooms not ready due to leavers etc., so made full use of bar area, and getting to know everyone there, beautiful views overlooking the sea, Buildings still looking a bit for wear, a good paint job would freshen them up, On arrival in the rooms (135) upstairs first impressions very basic, good fridge size, cooking = 2 rings, assorted pans etc., and electric kettle, so you need to be aware before planning any large dinner parties, but we managed fine, Bathroom lack of plugs which is the norm, and no shower hook for shower head, so you need to be good at multi-tasking, at the end of a shower, normally 4 to 6inches water in the bath around your feet, so be prepared, slow drainage, Towels fresh and hard, and changed mid-week, note you get your first toilet roll free, then you buy your own, good super

Stayed here in the past , hope its sorted soon.

Cana Bona : Hotel Levante

Image
Just returned from Hotel Lavente on March 19th, and as this is a Thomson gold Hotel decided to spilt the review in two halves, The Hotel itself, Bedrooms everything you can expect of a Spanish hotel, all carpeted, cleaned every day, TV all 7 English channels including sky sports and news, Bathroom clean large and spacious, plenty of hot water, mini bar empty so it’s a case of popping to the local spar and stock up, with water, drinks etc, at this time of year heating was on full, there was a sea full from the balcony as we were on the side in the square facing the main entertainment hall, and was in the shade from early in the morning, if you want the sun all day book a Superior room which have a pool and sea view. Again kettles are not standard in all rooms, only superior rooms so take your own. Main restaurant, buffet style service, just grab a table and eat, 2 gala nights over the week, plenty of choice, but why do they use tinned Veg!!!, also food tended to be warm to cold,

Markets around Cala bona

Most markets in Mallorca are held in the morning. Try to arrive before 10.30am because many markets are all finished and packed up by 1.30pm. The nearest market to Cala Millor is Son Servera every Friday morning. Bargains to be had are lace tablecloths and leather handbags, but do try to haggle over the price. The market is easily reached by bus or taxi. Special buses are laid on for this market. See bus time table for the market buses to Inca (Thursday), Sineu (Wednesday) and Arta (Tuesday). On Saturday mornings a large market and flea market is held in the Avenidas in Palma. The Palma and Inca markets are the two biggest on the island. Ideal for a cheap holiday only minutes from the airport, and plenty of hotelsin the area, close to its big sister Palma. Miles of beaches, and clean: Stayed in the Hotel Leo Arrived at the Hotel Leo early around 10:30 in the morning on the airport bus which stops 50 metres away, Reception were great, even through check in was 14:00 a room was ready for us on the first floor. Room. Basic room with TV, bathroom etc, there was no fridge or mini bar, or any kettle, advise to take a small travel kettle if you like a drink, problem is there were only 2 electric points one for the TV and one in the bathroom, but we managed, good size bathroom plenty hot water, etc, maid service each day, bed was basic, sheet and over cover spare blanket in cupboard, Restaurant Good choice of food but it stayed the same each day for evening and Breakfast, The restaurant is not big enough over the weekend period, when large groups booked in, people waited at the door until a table was found, and a
