Ionian Sea Hotel Kefalona
How do you describe a hotel that you should not be at, due to the original hotel being cancelled 48 hours earlier and all Thomas Cook guests transferred to the Ionian Sea? Arriving late at night 10:00pm welcome meal waiting for us, and shown to the room which was more than agreeable, from the start the staff were great and friendly nothing was a bother, the main cliental are mainly polish and east European but don’t let this put you off, The few English were the ones transferred from the KGV. It is all inclusive but you need to watch as there are two options, soft and hard, soft has no alcohol apart with meals and hard is alcohol all day, drinks package is very good one beer and 5 cocktails plus local spirits,, there is only one bar, at the pool drinks served in plastic cups, but don’t be shy to ask for a glass instead,, the glass size is a gill, so you will at least 3 to make a pint.
